In times like these, it's important to remember we have a lot of patriotic troops deployed worldwide. Cindy's Baking Angels is here to lend a hand during some often difficult times. We have supported our Deployed Military for over 15 years.
We need your help. In order to continue our mission of support, we need deployed troop referrals for our marvelous Angel TLC. Our Angels ship free of charge many needed items our Deployed Troops may not have access to or are in limited supply. Plus, the baked goodies and pillowcases are very coveted by them. Our aim is to make their deployments a bit brighter and letting them know they are not forgotten.
How can you help? Reach out to those you know who are deployed and/or their family members and have them check us out. Referrals can be done quickly and easily at Cindysbakingangels.net/referrals.html.

A little about Team Thunder Platoon 2nd Squad...
Thank you, Shelly Lichty, for referring your son Michael for our Angel support this month! This will be the second deployment in which our Angels have supported Michael and his new Buddies! Our Angels are thrilled to be able to support you again!
"Michael decided he wanted to serve and protect as a police officer from an early age. As a senior in high school he decided to first serve as an MP in the Army before joining the police force. He's currently serving in his fourth year of enlistment. Although no longer planning to become a police officer, his time as an MP has been an incredible asset, gaining skills and experience that will help him in whatever he decides to do next."

A little about Team Ares Battery...
Cindy's Baking Angels would like to thank Kimberly Albright for referring her son, Justin, for our Angel support this month. Our Angels are looking forward to supporting Justin and his Buddies during their deployment! They will take very good care of them.
Kimberly shares, "Justin is the younger brother of a Marine vet. I personally think he had interest in the Corps before his brother even joined, but witnessing his journey inspired him to step onto the yellow footprints. As a child, Justin was full of energy; he was a track and field athlete for 10 years, qualifying for Junior Olympics 5 times. He was an avid gamer, as well (and still is!)."

Many thanks to Kerrigan for referring Amanda for our support this month! Our Angels are thrilled to be able to support her.
Kerrigan shares, "The 1886th is an Engineer Facility Detachment out of central Illinois. The role of the 1886 is to operate as DPW in a forward environment. Utilizing senior leaders and civilian experience to create, complete, and maintain projects in the area of operation."

Chaplain Stephen DeMik shares a very special thank you to Cindy's Baking Angels from the USS Michael Murphy. Thank you, Angels, and Team MURPH for your service and support!
Cindy's Baking Angels received a very special treasure today! MAJ Jean Marie Kratzer of Team Rainbow PAO sent a Certificate of Authentication to our Angels on behalf of their Division Headquarters & Support Company 42D ID! This flag was flown on August 22, 2020 over Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Spartan Shield. Thank you so much for this wonderful and momentous treasure!
Cindy's Baking Angels received a lovely letter of appreciation from Commander Joseph Swindle of Task Force ODIN. SSG Contessa Rose and LTC Jarred Lang were our recipients and it was an honor and pleasure to be able to support Jarred and his Command during their deployment.
Team Raptors with Molina Semple sent our Angels a very special embroidered patch as a thank you! On behalf of our Angels, I thank you, Molina and Team Raptors, for your kind gesture. It will be treasured!
Team Justice League recipient Cpt. Monty McCoy, presented us with a very special treasure...a flag and certificate. This flag was flown over Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan on September 11, 2014, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom by the 313th Military Police Detachment "GATEKEEPERS, All In-Never Fold".

Cindy's Baking Angels has received five very special awards from members of our Military Teams. Travis Williams of Team Panthers, Michelle Lewis of the 1-135th ARB D Company, Anthony Costello of the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, MSgt David Billa and the US Marine Corps, and MAJ Guido Lyons of Task Force Diamond Head!
On behalf of Team Justice League, Team Panthers, Team Task Force Reaper, Team Bayonet, Team Leatherneck, and Team Wings of Lightning, I proudly and humbly accept Team Panthers US Flag, which was flown on every mission over Kuwait by pilot Travis Williams, along with their patch and Coins; Team TF Reaper patches; and our US FLAGS that were flown over Afghanistan (U.S Marine Corps) and during a combat mission on July 4, 2012 (Task Force Diamond Head;, and Certificate of Achievement (173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team). Thank you all for your effort and caring nature. This is for all my Angels!
