Dear Angels, 

Today I received an urgent request for masks from Renee Jordan for our military in Iraq. 

Renee writes, "My husband is deployed to Iraq. They need masks of any kind desperately. He is an RN also. His Medical unit packed for War not a pandemic. They have a severe mask shortage for patient treatment and no N-95 masks on hand. As you know the Military has required all Military start wearing masks. He can't give out any patient care masks to the regular troops there. He said due to their location, they can wear any fabric mask when not on duty although a solid color is preferred if available."

The CDC has patterns for a Sewn Cloth Face Covering and Quick Cut T-shirt cloth face covering that may be of help.

Also, the following are guidelines provided by the DOD. In addition, please do not use any decommissioned uniform fabric. The chemicals used on the fabric for bug repellent or flame retardant purposes is/can be hazardous to your health. Regular fabric in these camo patterns is allowed.
