A little about Team Theodore Roosevelt WG40
A big thank you goes out to Margarita Madrigal for her referral of our 'WG40' Navy men and women! We love referrals and are proud to be able to support our deployed military.
Our WG40 team member writes, "On the ship we are with the weapons department ("G4" as there are many divisions in each department). Not all of us are AO's (Aviation Ordanancemen), so we have some MM's (Machinist Mate's) and EM's ( Electricians Mate's) that work with us. We maintain and fix every weapons elevator on the ship and also handle Damage Control efforts for the department."
According to Wikipedia, "USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) (also known by crewmembers as "the Big Stick" or within the navy simply as TR) is the fourth Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. Her radio call sign is Rough Rider, the name of President Theodore Roosevelt's volunteer cavalry unit during the Spanish–American War. She was launched in 1984, saw her first action during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. She is currently engaged in a round-the-world deployment."
