A little about Team Maverick...

Diane shares, "Team Maverick is deployed out of Fort Hood, Texas to Bagram (eastern Afghanistan). Team Maverick 2 is a part of the intelligence section of the 1st Cavalry Division, ensuring the Commanding General has the right information to make important decisions.

Team Maverick consists of three women and 22 men, ranging in age from early 20’s to early 40’s. For some of the Soldiers, this is their first deployment. For others, it’s their fourth or fifth."

Diane writes, "Most of our personnel have rotated out to move to other duty stations, transition out of the Army, or attend leader development schools for promotion. Our new crew is settled in Afghanistan and highly motivated! We have varying degrees of experience in the Army and on deployments. No matter how many times a Soldier deploys, there is always something new to learn and grow from. It is truly rewarding to be part of such a dedicated group of military professionals!"
