A little about Team Bravo Raiders....
Cindy's Baking Angels is honored to be able to support Marine Sean Haggarty's fellow brethren during their deployment in Australia.
Kristine Haggarty, Sean's mother and an equipment specialist with our U.S. Air Force, shares a little about her son and his 1/1 Weapons Platoon Bravo Company.
"My son, Sean T Haggarty, joined the Marines in October 2013. He graduated Boot Camp on 1/17/2014. He continued on to ITB training and became an 0351 Assaultman. He loved being a Marine. He deployed to Okinawa for his Jungle Warfare training and Mount Fugi for his Cold Weather training with the rest of his Weapons Platoon. They formed a tight brotherhood."
She continues, "On July 6th, 2015 Sean was killed in a motorcycle accident on board Camp Pendleton. His Marine Brothers escorted him home and attended his funeral."
"His Brothers have continued to be a big part of my family. Corporal Richard Bork spoke at Sean’s funeral. He is now a Sergeant and the 1/1 Weapons / Bravo Company are currently deployed to Australia to train with the Australian Army."
Kristine shares, "They would appreciate anything that could be sent to them. It is quite hot in the outback. Some special requests would be Toiletries (Male only) and Homemade baked goods. There are 16 Assaultmen currently assigned to Bravo Company. I truly appreciate all their support since the passing of my son and would like to see them receive a little something in return."
I think I can speak for our Angels that we will take very good care of Sean's Brothers and are honored to be able to support such a fine group of Marines.
