A little about Team Maintenance...
Thank you, Madison, for allowing us to support you and your Platoon buddies during your deployment. Our Angels are looking forward to sharing their TLC with you!
Madison writes, "Our role as a Maintenance platoon is to provide support to our Battalion's wheeled and tracked vehicles. We also have special mechanics who work with generators and air conditionings.
We have about thirty people in our platoon, all of different ages and backgrounds. Even though our current deployment isn't a combat deployment, that doesn't mean that sacrifices aren't being made every day by my platoon. Children's births, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and funerals are all being missed all because of this deterrence mission in Eastern Europe.
We wouldn't change it for the world, we all chose this job, but any little treat most definitely helps with the moral boost. We notoriously work the longest hours out of any company in this Battalion, my mechanics are always busy. So, to have anybody looking out and providing some love to us goes a long way!"
Special Requests...
"We would love any cookies or brownies. Some in my platoon also love sour snacks! Any toiletry items would also be helpful- razors, shaving cream, body wash, and band aids. We also love our workout supplements over here! Any shaker bottles would be awesome- I'm not sure if protein powder or creatine could be shipped across the world, or if y'all have any, but we would love that too. Protein shakes maybe? Or any protein related snacks," shares Madison.
