A little about Team Havoc.....
Barbara Purvis is one proud Marine mother. We want to thank her for her assistance in creating Team Havoc! Our Angels are looking forward to bringing Andrew and his Unit a very special Christmas!
Barbara shares, "Andy has wanted to serve his country for as long as I can remember. His grandfather served 23 years in the Army and Andy could never get enough of hearing grandpa's stories.
The very day Andy turned 12, we signed him up for Civil Air Patrol. He went to every encampment that he could possibly attend including Glider, Powered Flight, Search and Rescue and National Blue Beret. He spent many hours down at the local recruiting office during high school. He would sit and talk with them for hours and often do PT with them.
Just out of high school in 2008, Andy joined the Marine Corps. He has been stationed in Norfolk, Twenty nine Palms, and Camp Pendleton. He has been deployed to Japan and to Afghanistan twice.
Andy takes great pride in training his men. He takes responsibility for their welfare seriously. He is a man of high standards as well as a man of compassion. More than once while he has been deployed I have gotten the call...my men NEED things!

Andy is the third of five children and is a twin. His twin brother is serving in the Army as an EOD tech. His youngest sister is also currently serving in the Army."
We want to thank Barbara and her family for their service to our country! We're excited about the opportunity to support Andrew during his deployment.

Our Angels have been working hard to create a very special Christmas for our Team! Enjoy the photos of their labors! A huge thank you for your support and I'm looking forward to working with you next year!

From Angels Susan, Amy, Sandy, Carolyn, and Cindy! We get together each month for our "Pack & Ship for the Troops." Baked goods and comfort items are packed and this year we had a very special project! "Helmet Beanies for the Troops!" Local Knitters' Nest at Fountaindale Public Library in Illinois along with Gloria and Nancy from Florida provided lovely caps for our Troops! Additional items were provided by Angel Mary and Val! Thanks to all for making this a spectacular holiday for our men and women!
From Angel Gloria and all her friends! Gloria had her own "Bake, Pack, and Ship Party" and showered all our teams with her baking delights and more!
