This month’s recipient hails from New York and is currently deployed at Kandahar. CPT Errico writes, “I am the Commander and am responsible for the overall welfare and tactical employment of 37 pilots and crew chiefs. I've been in the army for seven years."

Vito is a very self-less man and wishes our focus to be on his entire Alpha Troop. Vito shares, “Let me tell you a little about my unit--"The Renegades," Alpha Troop, Task Force Lightning Horse. We are an OH-58D scout helicopter unit comprised of 39 pilots and helicopter mechanics. Our unit is full of pride and committed to being the best scout pilots in the Army. We are currently deployed to Kandahar and are right in the middle of our 12- month deployment.”

He also goes on to share, “I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you're doing. What an amazingly selfless act! It's nice to know that there's still such incredible support for all our soldiers back home. My Renegades are not picky! They'll love anything you send them!”

Update October 21, 2012: We had a very successful shipment this month! 30 boxes were recorded as being shipped by our Baking Angels! Many thanks to all who volunteered to support Team Renegade Alpha and I hope to work with you all in the future!
