A little about Team Justin's Marine Family...

Cindy's Baking Angels is pleased to be able to support Justin and his Buddies during their deployment. Many thanks to Justin's mother, Melissa Mohundro, for referring him for our support. Our Angels will take very good care of them!

Melissa writes, "Justin has wanted to be in the military since he was very young. His original thoughts were Army, but during his senior year of high school, his sister left for boot camp at Parris Island. Within three weeks after she left he had her recruiter sitting in my dining room and we were signing his enlistment papers. He was 17.

Four months after graduation he left for boot camp on the eve of September 11th. He graduated boot camp on Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day ( December 7th). We don’t feel any of that was by coincidence."

Melissa shares, "Justin is now 19, just passed his 1st year Anniversary of service, a LCPL in the United States Marine Corps, and on his 1st deployment. While his sister chose to go into Aviation, he decided to be a Grunt and is doing a mighty fine job at that. To say we’re proud of him is an understatement. We are blessed that he is ours. I guess all those military video games he played for so long did come in handy after all."
