A little about Team Purple Foxes...
Cindy's Baking Angels wishes to thank Natalye Seffernick, Phillip's mother, for referring him and his Buddies for our support this month. Our Angels will take very good care of him! Thank you for the opportunity.
Natalye shares, "Phillip's dream throughout high school was to be a US Marine. I was shocked when his plans changed his senior year of high school and he decided to start college. Phillip completed a 1 1/2 years of college and then the pandemic hit. Being hands on in a classroom setting, Phillip decided to take a break from college."
"Phillip and I had many conversations about changing his path after high school. I always hoped at some point in time he would pursue his dream of being a US Marine. During those convos I would always let him know now is time before marriage, starting a family, etc and to have no regrets!" writes Natalye.
"On March 4, 2021, I received a text asking if I would like to meet him at a recruiters office and my reply was "YES!" Finally at the age of 23 Phillip decided to join the Marine Corps. May 2, 2021 he left for bootcamp. August 2021 he graduated bootcamp at Parris Island and was officially a US Marine. July 2022 he earned his wings as a crew chief on the V-22 Osprey. Phillip is currently stationed in CA and his squadron is the VMM-364 Purple Foxes. The Purple Foxes are an amazing squadron! This is his first deployment," adds Natalye.
Natalye writes, "Phillip enjoys weight lifting, the outdoors, skateboarding, playing X-box with his buddies and spending time with family and friends. We are so proud of Phillip and miss him dearly!"

How To Join Our Team!
Team sign-ups begin Thursday, May 25th. Please bookmark this page! On the 25th, a special "Register" button will be available for you to join this team! Shipping will run from June 1st to June 15th.
At that time you will be able to enter your first and last name, plus your email address. This is a double opt-in function through MailChimp. You will receive an email asking you to verify that you wish to join and you will be asked to respond to finalize the registration process. All of this will be done automatically and securely.
A Team Newsletter will be sent to you shortly after your registration. It will provide you with tips and easy to follow instructions for shipping and mailing.
For those who are unable to ship on their own, but would like to participate, donations are always gratefully accepted. Your donations are used to send more goodie boxes in your name to our Troops! To find out about Donations, CLICK HERE!
