A little about Team MSG Pakistan...
Cindy's Baking Angels would like to thank Jennifer Sheffield, Dalton's mother, for referring him and his Buddies for our support this month. Our Angels are looking forward to sharing their Angel TLC with them!
SGT Sheffield writes, "I would like to say that I appreciate you considering supporting my detachment. I am a Marine Security Guard posted at the U.S. Consulate Karachi, Pakistan. Our detachment's mission is to protect the lives of mission personnel and keep sensitive information secure. We are a small group of highly motivated Marines who stand watch over the compound 24/7, 365 (or 366 every 4th year)."
"My mom has been eagerly waiting over five years for me to deploy to a hardship area where I could really use care packages from the states. There is a small commissary here on the compound but it is pretty expensive and carries limited options," shares Dalton.
Special Requests....
"Travel-sized hygiene items (toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, soap/body wash, etc.), and healthy snacks (dry fruits, granola bars, oatmeal, sunflower seeds, trail mix, single-serve water flavoring powders, popcorn, etc.) are always appreciated here!
Also, it can take several weeks or even months for large packages to arrive to post here," adds Dalton.
Shipping time to Dalton varies. If sending baked goods, be sure to vacuum seal or put in air tight containers. His mother mentioned that a recent package she shipped took just seven days. Delivery times are unpredictable, so please keep that in mind. Thanks!
